what to pay

As I posted earlier Im looking to get a 96 2.5tl... the only concern of mine is that it has 186000 miles on it... how many problems do you think i would run into and should I just walk away from this car w/ this many miles... the lowest the guy will go is $4000. does this sound right to you?

Sorry if these posts have already been answered previously but the search in this forum isnt working for me, and Im going to be getting this car today if Im getting it... Thanks for any help

timing belt might need to be replaced maybe? ask if that was done b/c that's a very expensive repair.

4000? no don' t buy it. I got my 96 2.5TL with 103k miles on it for 4350. Although our cars are good, a car with that many miles may need need a few things changed: timing belt, gasket seals, etc. I think it is too pricey!!

If it needs new belts, CV joints etc etc, then its far too much. But if all that has been done and maintained properly, then its a fair price to ask.
