WHat is this for?

Here's something for sale that makes great claims or HP increase etc etc etc.

Do these work? and how do they work?

i have a ground kit on my car.. and i think it is more of a psychological kick in the ass than the 1hp that it promises you... it says that since your grounds are all linked together, you won't have a drop between components in your engine bay (engine, tranny, TB, etc)

it all depends on the car you install them to and also how many points you ground... i made a custom kit for the 3.2TL and also my GS300...

on the TL, no performance gain was noticed.. i was lazy so i only made a 4 point grounding kit... the only thing it was good for was the reduction of my amp noise... i might finish grounding more points one of these days, but its been freakin hot in southern cali..

on the GS, there is quite a bit of difference.. i made a 9 point grounding kit... first thing i noticed was the shifting was crisp and responsive... the tranny has always been alittle sluggish and even more when i used the e-shift.. after the install, the e-shift has been fun with play with.. can't say for sure, but the car does feel like its faster.. another thing i noticed was my MPG.. i have always been averaging about 20-21 mpg.. (ac always on).. after the install, i've been constantly getting 24-25 mpg.. (ac always on).. my driving style has not changed either.. i can't verify or test why this is happening, but it seems like the grounding kit is helping..

i'll post more info on the TL once i finish grounding the rest of the locations.. i'm hoping it will result in similar experiences like my GS, but if it doesn't, oh well... at least it looks pretty in the engine bay..

Imagine what 2 pints of ether and a few mothballs in the tank would do?

I can see Electronics working better, but for 30 bucks Ill just buy a pint of SeaFoam and some lucas and live with the hum in my stereo.
