ive been looking at getting a new car for prolly about 3 months now. not that the 1st gen TL is no good for me or anything, im just pretty bored with the oldness of them. great cars... just alittle old for me. so i went looking the other day and found a 2002 Lexus ES300. i think i fell in love. first off, its huge inside it. not to big. but it makes the TL look like a hatchback. insane driving exspecially from a front wheel drive. the leather is actually "real" looking and feeling along with the noticably darker wood trims. all mirrors are auto dimming. theres even a power rear sun shade that prolly has no use. i feel like i want a newer TL but the 2004 is alittle high and out my reach (seeing i live in RI and everything is priced SO HIGH, BILLS EAT US ALIVE!!!) and i just refuse to get a 2nd gen. the trannys are crap and compared to the es300 there dull to me. so it looks like ill be jumping to the Lexus fam soon. ill be selling my TL or trading it in (seeing the guy offered me and AWESOME PRICE FOR IT!!) but id rather sell it to someone i know will enjoy it as much as i did.

basically im asking for 10,500 or best offer. its a 98 acura 3.2 tl, new rotors, newer brakes, new tires, aftermarket auto dimming mirror (i love that thing!), all new fluids, all scheduled maintanence done and paperworked, new car fax for viewing if wanted, pro wired with monster wire if you wanted to install an amp/subs. Also it has all blue interior lighting but can be changed over to stock lighting easily and i still have all the stock bulbs. Even my Gauges are blue which looks awesome at night! and yes.. the needles can be seen perfect.I want to take the Eclipse AVN-30D navi i installed with me but if someone would want it with the car and said a good price we agreed on.... ill throw it in! also the navi has the $400 June 2006 update DVD. It also plays DVD's and is grounded to be viewed and can change settings while the car is moving. I live in RI but am seconds from the CT border so if anyone is interested in a great deal for a great car.... PM me!!! thanks ppl!

my friend has 1 of those lexuses...its really nice! i havent heard him complain about it yet. It just seems a little boring to me, like it was made for the older crowd. has some really great features and all, and actually has some JDM parts available for it that can make them look pretty tricked out (me and my friend researched it, i think they're called windoms in japan). Id still prefer to wait for a 3G TL if i were you being that ive been in both cars and the TL was a sportier feel, but hey if you like it go for it since you will be the one driving it!

Word..The IS300 is slow unless you mod the hell out of it which it does have unlimited modding capabilities..There are plenty of 500rwhp IS300 out there

no is300 for me man. i had a rear wheel drive J30 back in the day anmd almost died in the new england weather. it does seem like its meant for the older crowd but that doesnt bother me. the one i looked at has a spoiler which makes it look 100x more sports like. plus i checked out my insurance (which i have the cheapest ins around... i currently pay 61 a month for full coverage in the tl) and the 04 tl = 186 a month, 02 lex es300 = 110. another thing that made me say ES300 is for me and yes... its called the Toyota Wisdom JMD

Arg... You pay so little... I pay more than that for my 88 Accord. Total for insurance for me every month is around $800... 3 cars, but still...
