Question Want you guys opinion

I am thinking of doing a little modifying to my rear bumper to give my car a little VIP style. I know its not a vip car but i want to be a little different. I want to add fog lights back there. Actually they aren't fog lights per se but I plan on runing wires back there and add reflecter like lens. As far as it being legal, im sure it is illegal but what do you all think? I have the value rear lip and kind of hesitant to drill holes in it but then again I could bondo it back up and sell it if i ever decide to.

If you were in Japan, I'd say hell no. But in the States, why not.

VIP cars u see online or magazines are rich guys expensive cars. The commoners VIP cars are just shit boxes with mass bondo and cardboeard. You should see some of the real street VIP cars....Its a shame. Im sorry but the nice ones are really nice but the ones running around are butt ugly, talk about no taste.

yeah i took out the orange amber and use regular white bulbs. i haven't gotten pulled over for that yet *knock on wood* its a bitch to take out the amber and plus you risk damaging the whole tail light. I took a big ass risk...big risk.

Binky: ive seen all sorts of VIP cars in japan. I'm a moderator on a vip forum

I'm really not sure what size they are, I'd just stop by an Autozone and ask them to look it up.

Baller, so you have the stock tails? I heard they look different if you take out the amber (different pattern)

i have jdm stock tails..yes.

copy: what i did was i used a drill to cut out small pieces so that i can shake it out of opening (where the bulb goes in). little by little, i finally got out the whole orange amber.

per tail light, it took me about 2 hours. an extra 30 minutes or so to take out the dust particles that were inside b/c of the drilling. it sucked but the looks of it on the car is breath taking lol

I thought that there wasn't an orange reflector in the JDM/Inspire tails? I thought the orange was the bulb, or is my lazyness owning me

Rear turn signals are 7440 bulbs. I have 24 Hyper White LEDs on either side. Fronts as well.

~Cheers~

P.S. Rear fogs are EDM tight yo!
