Updated pics of my TL...

I just took some pics today. The most recent mods are the Value spoiler, Inspire Tails, and the foglight projectors.

The reflector IS out. That was the first thing I did when I got those tails. What pic does it look that way? Thanks on the compliments BTW.

Oh, it might look like the orange piece is still in there because I had the hazards on and it looks like the bulbs were about to flash. lol.

ARGH! Its not letting me change it so I'll post again. Do you think I should leave it without badges? I had to take them off because the spoiler would've covered some of them. I was thinking of putting the "3.2TL" under the keyhole like the Inspires have it.

Yeah I want to but dont know which route to take. I want to change the shocks and get coilovers but I dont know what shocks work for 3.2's. I think only KONIs or Tokicos but I'm not sure what needs to be done to make them fit. (

That looks tight man. Very clean. I do like those inspires. What are those on the front of your mirrors?

When I first got the car I mounted sidemarkers on the mirrors and thought it would look good but it doesnt. I'm either getting the CLK blinkers (if the guy selling them ever responds to my emails or if I find someone else who gets them) or having them filled and painted. The rest of the car is so clean except for those damn mirrors. Live and learn.

Yes I did have problems. I went the Eibach Pro Kit, Koni Sport route and if I were to do it again, I would probably go coilover. I think it would have cost far less money. If you have any questions, let me know.

so the problem with KONi's are for the 3.2 and not the 2.5?

BTW, what color turn signals did you put for the rears and what size rims are those?

looking tight...

the tail and spoiler is OFF DA HOOK!!!! i see what you mean by the tail covering the emblems......from the pic it looks like the tail just barely touches the "A"! yeah i'd recommend to put the inspire underneath the keyhole

Yes the 3.2's have problems with the KONIs, not 2.5's. Also, I have Polarg Superwhites in the rear turn signals and the wheels are 18".

Yes, the black chrome emblems are different. They’re for a 2nd Gen TL. The front “A” is slightly bigger and the font is also different.

I was thinking of doin that, you know buying a 2nd gen A emblem to put on the front and back. Is that pretty easy on the front to do? I know the back is.

The back "A" is easy. The "ACURA" is hard since the letters arent connected and it comes with a different template. You have to put each letter on seperately. The "3.2TL" or "2.5TL" is easy. You won't be able to use the front "A" unless you have a mesh grill because its too big.

Hey did that shop in Brooklyn paint that value Spoiler? I cant really tell that well in the pics but it looks awesome. How did the paint job come out, and how much did your guy charge you for it? So that way I can get a basic idea on my front grill when it arrives, should I take it to your guy.

The car looks good. Its kinda funny you have the back of your car fixed up, and I have the front. If we photoshop them together we will have 1 bada$$ TL.

Yes that pic in my avatar is my headlight. I have 2 HID 6000K conversion kits. One kit is for the headlights and the other is for the factory foglights which I replaced with Hella HID projectors.

Yeah the factory piece is glass. It was a real pain to do it. Its bright as hell though! I wonder if they sparkle like Audi's? I have to let someone drive my car one day and see.

My projectors with 6000K bulbs have a tendency to do that, but they don't really change color like the Audi, they just go from purple to bluish at angles.

The spoiler is made by Value Sports. I got it from ValueTL at www.value-caraudio.com. It cost $650 shipped and a couple of hundred to paint and install. I dont have a front lip. Its my factory bumper.
