ugh, warped rotors?

so i got my tires balanced today and the guy told me that my front rotors probably came warped since they were just changed, etc. then he told me that the pads i have on (ceramic) were not made for my car, and were the worst to have on. i said 'k'. then he showed me, on my pass. side rotor there are lines in it. like wear lines.....you could see where most of the contact was being made. on the driver's side, it was all shiny. but on the pass. side it there were lines that were darker than the shiny part. so does this constitute rotor warpage? i'm going to call KVR anyway and see what they think. if they are i'll demand new ones and that KVR pay for the install since it is not doable (in reasonable means) by myself. what do you all think? i can snap a pic if that will help. not sure if it will show up on it, but can try.

does it make any sounds? i just had my rotors changed, an my rear passenger side makes a squeaking noise when i press the brake, it doesnt shutter just a squeak an you can hear its only when the rotor goes around, because the noise gets slower an longer when your coming to a complete stop, got the rotors from autozone an they must of came warped but they wont take them back

that actually sounds like a brake pad issue if it's a constant squeek. no? that would be my take on it. if your car isn't shaking at ALL, then it probably isn't a warped rotor. but they should take them back either way....you're the customer. duh Autozone (dumb theme song by the way)

they said they have to see them first, so i have to send them a pic. even if they do replace them, they may not cover installations costs. i don't think that is right, but i doubt i do it if they don't.

think it could just be the pads? maybe i should try to change those first. the wheel shakes not just during braking, but most of the time.

I was working on my old tl this weekend, and i noticed the same things on my brembo rotors. Some spots had like deeper scratches and it was really shiny in those spots. I think the pads are getting worn out, but I didn't drive it so I dunno.
