ok I finally found a set of type s rims but they are from a 2003 cl type s
for 500.00 dollars includes shipping charges
do you think i made a good deal (no tires) tough
I have to buy them
is there a diference between the tl and cl type s ?

That is actually a pretty good deal depending on what condition the rims are in. The diference that I know of between the 2 are one is slightly bigger and one has a slight lip. The thing is I can't remember which has what. I am sure someone else here knows though.

tls rims are 17x65 and cls are 17x7. the cls are also a bit rounder.

'03 cl type-s wheels? those are the 6 split-spoke rims.
the diff. between 02 cl type-s and tl type-s rims is that the tl type-s rim has a lip and the spokes are a little different.

That is actually a pretty good price. The dealers want like $250 a rim. You're probably gonna spend another $400 at least on tires too. I got my TL-S rims for $600 including tires. I had to drive almost 2 hours to pick them up, but it was well worth the trip!!!
