Tranny strainer questions?

Alright fellas I've read the DIY and I have a couple of questions....

1. Has anyone used an after market strainer? Beck & Arnley is the manufacturer and AutoZone has it for $35.99 and it comes with the gasket and o-ring....

Now I have read about the possibility of the screens being different sizes and it could possibly put more particles/contaminants in the tranny.... I'm pretty worried about that happening so I figured I post these questions....

2. I called my Acura Stealership in town and they want $66.95 for the OEM strainer and it will take 5 days to get it in.... Where else can I order an OEM strainer, O-ring, and gasket without getting bent over by these bastards....

Thanks,

Oldyota

call Tim at hondacuraworld.com... that is where i got all my parts.... yes it is a bit more expensive... but it is worth my piece of mind since the dealership says that this part does not require maintenance...
