tranny?

i got my tranny dealer serviced flush and what not about 1month or around 1000 mi. felt better when i left the dealer but now as time gose by 1st gear seems to really slip but only now and then , like i just got back from a long trip and in stop and go traffic it seems too slip in 1st alot. rpms don't really macth the speed, but it's not like it's not moving b/c it dose. it also happens at stop signs, unless i get heavy on the gas, but thats not the way i drive i kinda roll by stops at a low speed ease on the gas thats when it feels like it slips, and i get the rough 1st to 2nd. i know theres alot of post but help here would b appreciated. is first gear going???

i had same exact problem bro....

i have the solution for you..... this happened to me after i did the flush as well... i guess it washed all the gunk into the filter (YES OUR TRANNY"S HAVE A FILTER) mine was wretched. and my shifts got even worse in 1st and 2nd as well see. Clean Transmission Screen Thread *sticky*.

i went to kragen bought the filter ($30)

and about 5 bottles of honda transmission oil ($30) for a total of $60, but OH WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!!! i really recommend u try that...

Here's the link to the part

dont recommend u do it through dealer...

at most it took me and my pops about 2 hrs to do... if u go to dealer they will most certainly rape you for more than 100. i know they didnt replace it on mine cause the dealer said my tranny didnt have a filter!!..... so they certainly didnt change it out when they did my flush. trust me on this on i dont think you shold go to dealer for this, but then again its your car so its up to you.... good luck

i personally thinks its the same but then again...

i dont have the 3.2. On mine al you had to do was take off the oil pan and the filter was right there on the left hand side. it was held in place by about 4 screws and was easily accesible when the car was jacked up or on stands. like i said it only took me and my pops 2 hrs to get everything done. i say give it a shot u don't have anything to lose.......
