went to my first TL meet yesterday and all i can say is that i'm proud of my little baby. there were about 10 of us TL and CL ownders. I was the only 1st Gen there. felt kinda outta place but whatevers :p started off by meeting up in the parking lot of a shopping center. checked out everyone's ride. they weren't really paying attention to mine cause mine was a 1st Gen, but that's ok, i showed them later. hehe. there was also an M3 and two lotus esprits. well to make a long story short, we went up to this place called Skyline, where the roads were twisty and hard to manuver. I didn't know how my car would take the turns cause i've never attempted to really max out my car's handeling. Lo and behold i was keeping up with all the TL-s's and CL-s's. i was right on their asses. i was even behind the M3 for awhile and the car felt perfectly fine going through turns. granted that they all pulled away on straight aways, i'm really proud of my little car. it held up against it's big brothers. This experience motivated me to get some new rims and tires soon. if we had sway bars i would've gotten that too. I encourage everyone to go to at least one TL meet in their life cause it's really fun talking to fellow TL owners who love their cars as much as you do, if not more. Oh yeah used up about half a tank of gas on that little drive, it was CRAZY!!!
