Smile Tires are on..

But I got another problem.. couple of pics I took after putting tires on.. I am getting alignment done tomorrow. Is there something like a lifetime alignment or some kind of warranty, I am asking because I seem to mess alignment up very often. you know running over curbs and stuff like that.

Now off to the problem. While car was lifted I did a visual underneath and I found some liquid on compressor. It wasn't oil, kinda looked like coolant and thats what my teacher said. And there is also some leak by oil filter, maybe oil pan gasket(I hope not) Don't know for sure. As I was driving yesterday I smelled burning oil. Any idea??? Pics..

Around compressor.

Around oil filter..

And one more question, How much air should I put in these Yokohama's?? 40 PSI is good enough??

There was some oil on floor on compressor side after I pulled my car out of shop. thoughts??

firestone offers a lifetime alignment deal...i think i paid $149 iirc...

as for the dark leak on the oilpan, if its hard and kinda squishy, its potting material that has melted off the crankshaft sensor, don't worry about it. the legend guys all ignore it and so did i. you can replace the sensor when you change your timing belt but the potting material on the new sensor will melt again anyway...

Thanks for quick reply. One more question, what is included in lifetime alignment?? Is there a period of time or miles or number of times I can use their services.

they only adjust the settings adjustable by the factory so basically toe front and rear...i had aftermarket camber kits but i adjusted them by eye and they were within spec but they wouldn't adjust them even when i asked. it might vary by shop though. toe kills your tire waaaaay faster than camber though, ask me how i know...

I got alignment and wheel balancing done today. Paid $207.43 for lifetime alignment and balancing.

And Ken, you asked me how quiet they are. They seem preety nice. Atleast quieter than the last set I had. I still have to take it to freeway though.

I went to firestone. As long as you own the car registered with them you can get as many alignments as you need. I think its not a bad deal especially for me..

Tired off ass busting day at work, so I think I sucked at making sentence above..

I heard they have paper backings which could tear off sometimes leaving the filter to filter nothing. I stop using them when I knew about that and have since switch to Napa filters.

These tires are quiet while at low speeds and at freeway you don't hear anything with all wind noise...

Mandy, here are some old pics, I'll try taking some new ones tomorrow..

They usually charge $20 per tire but I put them on myself and saved myself $80..

Lifetime Balancing = $50 and Lifetime alignment = $149 all taxes included. I didn't get any hazard warranty. And I used my old valve stems.
