I just got a nice silver 2.5 this past friday. What is a good place to start in the engine dept and the exterior? I like speed my other ride is a highly mod mustang (sleeper) but this is my chill ride.

 

well you can start off by getting an air filter for you car. granted that there are no companies that make it especailly for our cars, but many of us have modified it to fit a cone onto the tubing. exterior wise you can start off by meshing your grille or lowering your car. there are a lot of stuff you can do with your car if we weren't all so poor.

There aren't many modding stuffs for our car, from look to speed. For look, you can get some new rims for the car, clear bumper lenses, lower the car with performance springs, get the Inspire tail lights, super-white bulbs. I've heard that you can get a turbo charger or a supercharger for the car; some says that you can use the one for the Honda Accord. You can also get CAI... Well, those are what I know, maybe other guys on here could give you more information.

the first thing you should get is clear bumper lenses they accent the car great and then change all the stock bulbs
then maybe drop it bu its gonna be around $325 installed (looks really good)
fog lights you can get a pretty good pair for like $70

the possibilities are endless

 

Thanks for the welcome and the info. What are inspire taillights and where can I see some pics. MaxxT, what type of bulbs (yellow or white) for the clear bumper lens? Also, could I change the fog/driving lights to a different color bulb? Thanks again.

 

You can change any bulbs to to any color. You should go with a white bulb for the clear bumper lenses, otherwise buying the clear lenses would be a waste of money. The inspire tails are on this website - go to the parts section of the homepage. I think wheels are what sets a car off, especially ours'. We got some ugly, boring stock rims. If you got the money, go get some new wheels, no matter what size b/c their bound to be better then stock, IMO. Happy Modding.
