Is there a carbon hood for the 97 TL?

ive seen a yellow first genTL that had a carbon fiber hood that was on a tuner mag...but as far as im concerend your on your own...got one word for ya...custom! there is a company called carbon creations...they'll be your best bet...sorry i couldnt be more help.

I forget the name, but somebody on here had hookups for carbon hoods.

i think the yellow guy got his from fiberimages.com they say thhey make one for the RL but i think it is the one they made for him for the TL because the pics look just like the TLs

To answer the question... Yes, there is a Carbon Fiber hood for the 1st Gen...
but... i think its for the 3.2... if it would fit the 2.5 being as the front grill thing is different...
I've seen everyone post about the "Yellow" TL... but never actually seen it before... Anyone have the pic... Also, why back in the 1st Gen Threads... i mean 2001 posts... there is a thread about this carbon fiber hood for our car... He did get a custom made one and like weapon R probably didn't get many customers so didn't make that many, if any besides his... i'd find the thread but i have to get ready for work right now... What i did read on that old thread is that it was around 6 to 8 hundered dollars...
