Tail light gasket

I noticed theres some water leaking in from my tail lights. I figured the gasket between the tail light and the frame is getting old. So my question is where can i get a new tail light gasket and how much would it cost? Someone told me to get an old mouse pad and use the old gasket as a template and make my own...but i dont really feel like doing that.

What you can do is take the taillight off (unscrew the bolts). Then, take the gasket off and wipe it down. What happens is "gunk" builds up and the seal gets opened, then the water comes in. I did it and the leaking stopped. If you have any questions, ask.

*remove the plastic trunk liner By way of the plastic rivet thingies.
Use a screwdiver type nut remover to remove the 4 screws.

But be very careful the screws are like butter and could easily break when you re-tighten them.(DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN)
If they do break you will have to buy a whole new taillight.
I would ask a dealer how much they charge to do it 4 you or some other shop. That way if they do break they will have to replace.

Info given By experience. But was able to give blame to a body shop.

***CORRECTION: Push/pull rivet thingies and pull carpeting to reveal light housing. There is no need to remove plastic trunk liner.
