Stupid 90 day password change....

Wut a pain in the ass. Every 90 days you have to change it. Then I forget the last password, then they give me some long #, wtf is that. Irritating....

WE AREN'T SUPPOSE TO KNOW THESE THINGS!!!

I'm pretty sure Soopa or Astro can arrange something so that you don't have to always change your PW... but it is more secure that way... write them down... or just write down hints to what your PW is... keep it in the glove of your car under lock down...

BTW: I hate the 30 day PW change things... especially when you can't use the same password ever again...

haha..guys as a Network Administrator by day, I have the same issues wih my employees bitching about the same thing. I just tell them the same thing I will tell you, in the end, thanks to all the corporate scandals of recent date, it's the law!! With the Sarbanes-Oxeley act, it becomes the resposibility of the company to control network security as much as possible. It sux ass, but its become a fact of life withtodays society.

Question

hey I gotta question. Lets just say one of the members does get access to a mods username and password. What damage can be done? Can he like erase all the threads, ban people, etc..?

it depends on the level of the moderator. A mega moderator can ban people, edit threads and delete post, edit signatures, and some other stuff. Thats how it is on other vbb forums I've seen, but it all really depends on how the program is setup.

I don't, I guess I'm not that old school. I've been around less than a year but think I have contributed a lot.
