Angry Stock Air Box Removal

I recently tried to remove my stock air filter and the top of my stock air box and replace it with a high performance cone air filter. The only problem was that when i removed the top of the stock air box and took off the the sensor it threw a check engine light and my engine wouldnt go over 3,000 revs. So i just went back to my same stock setup does any body know how to fix this???

yeah , you have to have that , you jus have to put the senso between the tube and the actual filter

Also make sure you disconnect the battery while you are installing the cone filter. the computer needs to reset or it will still throw up a code, since the cone filter will allow more air in then the stock filter did.

so just leave the sensor connected to the top of the box off to the side, cuz the cone filter wont fit inside the air box

thats the mass air meter
you need that for the car to run properly
it is what the computer sets all the fuel and ignition maps against.

just dont put a cone filter on

it will do no good
