Squeaking noise

I hear some squeaking noise whenever I hit any bump or very very small uneven pavement on the road. Do I need new shock absorbers or something else? It seems that I hear it from front and back of the car.

Check your passanger seat... it tends to squeek whe i go over bumps and it vibrates... you can also check your glove box... and even maybe tighten your dash a bit... if that doesn't help... then you can go ahead and look into your bushings of your suspension and/or shocks etc...

Look for the simple stuff first...

I checked pretty much everything, they look ok.

How do you tighten the dash ?

anyway, I think it's the bushing, shocks or something right there .

OH MAN!!!!!

Mine was squeaking something aweful. It took me forever to find it. My damn sub that is screwed into the back of my enclosure was rubbing the back of the rear seat supports in the truck and making a god aweful noise. I put some foam window tape on the seat support and no more Squeeeeek! Maybe it's something simple like that.

I'm hearing something coming from my car that sounds like an old box springs under your bed. Can really only hear it when the windows are up and the radio is off. STILL bugs the hell out of me! Any ideas?

if the noise is coming from the front is a ball joint for sure
it happened to me if it's from the front I know exactly what you're talking about
and there's a recall for that issue
a couple of years ago I receive a letter from acura saying I had to replace the front ball joints because of this recall.
The bad side of the story is 2 or 3 months after I went to replace them, of course free of charge. I start getting that squeaking noise so I went back not knowing the problem was the ball joints so they replace them again and problem solved
and 2 weeks ago a friend of mine had the same noise on his honda accord, he took the car to the shop thinking he had a broken coil or a bad strut and it end up being a ball joint too

I have the same problem. I hear a squeaking sound coming from the back of the car if I go over a bump. It sounds very much like bad shocks, however I cannot reproduce the squeaking sound by pushing down on the rear part of the car when it is parked.

My front ball joint was going out and the squeek was so loud the whole neighborhood could hear it while driving down the street. THEN....after about a week, it was gone! Never heard it again! This new sound is MUCH quieter, and I can't figure out where the hell it's coming from!

Are all years and trims of the 1st Gen TL's covered under this warranty? What do you do when you bring it it? Wait for them to diagnose the problem and then be like, "So...you're going to fix that for free 'cuz of the recall, right.....BITCHES!" LOL! Is there a place to get a list of the recalls for our cars? Thanks for the help!
