Sound System Question

How did all guys run the wires for ur sound systems (i.e. RCA, Power, Ground, remote, etc.) Where did u guys run the power wire to inside the car, I can't find any place to run the cable thru everything is real tight under the hood.

I have my wire ran real ghetto, It's all showing.

Are there any custom boxes u can purchase for our cars?

Thanks in advance for all the help,
Derek

I ran a 4 guage power wire through the factory grommet located under the driver's side dash. Its all the way up towards the left side of the car. If you look under the hood towards the drivers side you'll see a hole where all the wires go in. They go down towards the bottom of the fender and right through the grommet into the vehicle. It was a pain in the ass to get a 4 guage wire through that grommet. I taped the wire to a wire hanger and lubed it up with some silicone spray and forced it through from outside the car. With the door open you can see the grommet. Guide the hanger from outside the car and once it makes it underneath the dash just pull it through.

I ran the speaker wires and remote wire along the side of the car under the door sills. I ran the RCAs through the middle of the car under the passenger seat.

Good luck!

Yup. I ran it along the driver's side door sills. They just pop off.

Nice I ran my power wire down the passenger side of the car.

d3rk: get some split tube wire insulation to hide anything you run under your hood.
