Question someone help with wheel sizes

i own a 96 3.2 an i was wonderin if someone has put 18-8 on their ride. I have 17-7 with no problems now but am not to sure if the width is goin to cause a problem. If anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated

if you want 18's on your car, the max size you can get is 18x7.5 and suggested tire size is 225/40. 18x8 will stick out of your fenders a bit..thats if your car isn't dropped. if it is dropped then it will stick out touching your fenders and will rub

no necessarily - i talked to neokinetics and he had 18x8 with 45 offset and he had no problems. But if you are going to get that then from what I have heard, i would lower it a inch to a inch and a half to get rid of some of the chance you have of rubbing

i've heard that rong off sets and different tires and things can mess up your steering. Like you can loose turn radius or even not get as responsive steering.
