So Long!

Well, I know I haven't been on here much in the last few years, but since the Engine swap was done, I've been pretty busy with work and life and haven't been able to spend much time on here. I am selling the TL now, pretty much as a junker. The body and interior are still in excellent shape, but that motor never did work all that well, and I haven't had the time or money to put into her to get it running the way it should. Anyways, I just wanted to say goodbye to those of you I DID chat with back when I was an active member and wish you all happy motoring in a truly great automobile!! I'll still have my membership on this forum, so PM me any time. Peace!

I was a lurker when you were active, but since at the time I was still driving the Civic, I didn't bother posting, haha. Take care!

Picked up a really clean '95 525i 5spd.
Haven't had time to take any pics yet (just got it on the road yesterday) but I will.

I tried to not have to part with it, but living in a condo I just couldn't keep it around. Kept it at my bro's place for a while but then he wanted his garage back when it started snowing! LOL I ended up letting it go for $700. Almost makes me cry to think about it. But that's life. Here's a couple of pics of the new project car...

Pretty good starting page... Will be MUCH nicer when I'm done though. NO engine swaps tho! LOL

Trust me I had it up for ove 6 months on Kijiji and on here too, got no responses or rediculous low balls. Got tired of fighting with it and moving it. I couldn't beleive it either, I wanted $1500 as it sat, I thought that was fair, I couldn't even get $1000!! for it. But I did sell the Type-S wheels separately for $450 and I got $450 for my snows, so that wasn't too bad. I put the system abck to stock as well, so I still have all of that stuff.

Nice pick up.

It is really clean inside besides the seat but you would expect that from a car of that age.

Too bad nobody wanted it for the price you gave.

I would have taken your Type S wheels though, had I known. It would have found a good home for my CRV!!!!
