Since I recently changed the air filter,my car sounds much much louder! a new sound, lol almost sounds like wind rushing into my car, is there...its an aftermark tran or trane filter from canadian tire but it cost more than oem, so i think it should be better if anything...is there a way to test my air filter system? i changed it myself and hopefully i didnt mess up, i didnt bother disconnecting the connection to the filter 'case' so i hope i didnt bend it and end up breakin it..any input?

That's cool, nothing like steppin on it, and having that sound.....I loved my intake in my TL, BUT after a couple of years, my TL ran like crap because of it.....

 

hey i thought it could be the sound for possibly a filter...its not a intake btw, but ur right maybe it can be bc of performance filter..hopefully the piping is correct..haha ya can u guys drive without ur air filter and let me know how it sounds like at 80km..hehe i dont know who else to ask.
