Sighting Thread

I'm thinking about a sighting thread... What do you guys think? Now since we don't have enough 1st Gens in any one given place for it to be too common, but how about a general sighting thread? I'll start, and maybe rimz would like to move his thread into this one.

Sighted in San Francisco in the Sunset District. License plate blurred for privacy:

i got my dual exhaust done for alittle over $900... dual 5zigen fireball t/c, magnaflow resonator, and custom 2.5 inch cat-back piping... unlike a lot of those civics and accords that have the extra exhaust just for looks, my setup is the real deal.. both exhausts dispurse the fumes evenly.. without the resontor, the car loss alot of torque since there was very little back pressure... the car did gain much more on the top end, but it was too loud for my taste.. i added the resonator to quiet it down and also to gain some back pressure.. overall, i am content with the setup..

TLxRacer, have you got a pic of your set-up from underneath? I'm curious as to how you've got that resonator installed.

Another sighting, sorry for the horrible pic, was on the Bay Bridge. Filipino-looking guy with his girl, car looked pretty clean. UA2, BTW. JDM-style bumpers (clear with amber bulb), and I'm feeling that wing. Didn't make the photo too big as it's not a full image of the car...

You mean this?

It's a charm from a big temple in Japan. It's the temple for drivers, and it basically is a protection charm. Next year at matsuri, I have to buy another one, hehe. Every year you have to get one more.

No worries, my car was filthy, too.

I have a pic of your car close up, but I need to blur your plate. I don't live in JapaCen, but I go there fairly often. I was there that day with my m8's MKIV and I was on my way to General Hospital when I saw your car and pulled over. If anything, come out to the Starbucks by Serramonte on Friday and Saturday nights, I'm usually there.

~Cheers~

Hey Undy, are you back in SF tonight? Two of my friends just came back from out of town and we're meeting up at SB. There's an i-Club meet there tonight at 8 but I won't be there that early since I don't want to see a bunch of Impreza guys going, "Why did STI have to pick pink," etc.

~Cheers~

Replied. Anyhow, around 11:45 this morning, black 3.2 on 280N towards the 101N ramp, car full of passengers all looking at me... "Hey." 101N at 11:45, pearl white 3.2 with an older lady rubbing her nose. "Like your paint."

That is all.

~Cheers~

Yes... Yes I was. I was heading down to the Chevron on Capitol to get some gas since after last night, I was running on fumes, hehe. You should've honked!! I was so tired, I probably wouldn't have even noticed, though. Anyhow, come out tonight. We'll be at SB again, last night I was there with 3 cars with a total of 1200WHP... 400HP Supras x 2, and a 400HP Evo. Plus a few other sub-300HP cars in our group. They might come out again tonight, and you can also see that A4 I was talking about in the other thread.

~Cheers~

I just took them off last night actually, as I threw on a set of MOMOs to take to the track this morning. I'll look for some older pics for you, though.

~Cheers~

P.S. BTW, pick up the EX-V6 coupe rims as those look nicer than the sedan ones.

Sorry I couldn't find any photos, I might put them back on for a day or two, just since the MOMOs rub. Anyhow, this bump is of a different sort of sighting:

UnsanePyro, did you know that these guys are using your avatar for their adverstisment?! TLxRacer's pic is in there too!

WTF?! BTW, the things in the pic are smoked bumper lights if any of you were wondering.

~Cheers~

Wow, those look kind of slick. I wonder how they would look on an actual car.
