I have a 69 2.5tl, anybody know how to get the shifter know off?

 

all u got to do is unscrew it off...the shifter knob is like a big nut and the shifter is like a bolt...you gotta turn the knob counter clockwize (i think) for quite a while cuz the threads on the shifter are long.

 

there was 2 pins that you had to push up to get it off.... which sucked... but for your info... i put the same but newer knob in there, the old one wore out!
