shift light indicator went out

well, it finally happened...the damn D4 light went out on me today. can someone please post DETAILED instructions on how to take apart the dashboard so i can replace the light bulb? i'm not too handy with taking apart the dash so good instructions will be very useful. any takers???? 96TL???? 962.5TL????

Damn...Mine went a couple of months ago, but I was going to wait until I do the gauge faces. I wish they would use LEDs. They last forever and use hardy any electricity.

I've done the bulb replacement on my TL as well. It's not too bad. Just go slow and thank Acura for being able to tilt the steering wheel. My other car does not have a tilting steering wheel and replacing the bulb in that dash took me hours!!

ill just sum it up. there are 2 screws beneath the rubber flaps next to each side of the steering wheel. take out those 2 screws. then CAREFULLY pull out the piece that goes in front of the gauges. its connected to the ac vents too so be careful. i took mine apart and broke off the flaps on the ac vents. i still haven't replaced that yet

oh yeah, i didn't buy a new bulb. i just replaced the "2" bulb for the d4 bulb
