Tony, how are your speakers?

I am not picky, I still have the OEM's. But my rears are shot and am too lazy to replace them yet.

Sent you a PM.

Who will pick up the car? Salvage yard?

Just a bad scene, a TL being hauled away.

The day I brought her home..

As of today, tinted windows 5% on back 3 and 20% on front 2. Windshield will be done soon.

LED's are expensive addiction...

I hope so Vas, but it hurts to see my car coming apart piece by piece. I love the seats in TL, wish I could swap them out in my 325.

That is staying as well. Its time to replace my mom's aging Accord. That thing is literally falling apart.

Yeah, and after what's happened to it several times, I think that's a wise move.

Yes, stolen twice. Assholes broke the center console while trying to take the shitty stereo out. Whole thing is faded and looks like .

So far no luck. 3.2 is hard to come by but 2.5 are little easier.

So I found a car in SoCal for you for $600, but it turned out the guy stole the pic from another ad. There are a few 3.2 Premiums available down there, so then you could have ass warmers like Ken and I have, haha. Tried calling you, too.

~Cheers~

I saw those calls this morning. About the cars in SoCal, who the hell is going to pick it up? I don't want to waste a whole day driving there and end up finding a . Thats why I am trying to keep it local..

Yeah, but if local means 2.5 and you want to stay 3.2... You get the idea. Well, someone is bound to be back down there anyway, since we go fairly often, why not ask them to check it out? If it's cool, meet the seller in Kettleman City, the halfway point. Gas isn't that much if you can get a good deal. They're going for $1600+.

~Cheers~

The BMW is begging for new wheels and clear corners, but it looks nice

Is the TL going to be for the mom? In which case I doubt she'll care if it's a 2.5.

Thanks man. I know it needs a whole lot of goodies but funds are little tight right now so I am holding on to anything but the maintenance.

Yes that is the plan but my sister liked how my TL looked and she wants me to buy the car and make exact replica and give it to her. Mom wouldn't care if she gets the TL or my sisters 01 Accord.

Another reason I am looking for a 3.2 is I have all the goodies for 3.2 (suspension, wheels etc). Not to mention its a better smoother motor and a great highway cruiser. Freaking miss the ride quality of TL.

Is the BMW too stiff? I've found 3 series cars to drive quite nicely.

Nope. 3 is not stiff. Its just different. TL has different feel to it. I drove 3 after a week today and it was nice to be in there but TL is more Luxury than that stripped out wanna be sports sedan...

Not poking holes in your statement, but you sure you can spin those tires ? I can spin brand new snows on my 3.2TL pretty easily, and they are good grippy tires.

Summer tires on hot summer evening plus smooth road, grips better than brand new snow tires in same weather conditions. If it is the other way around than you might be right..

This was my first nice car and I loved every moment of if when I was behind the wheel. Specially after doing the suspension. I like this car so much that I bought another one. And thanks, glad you liked that stripped out German piece of metal..

Feeling little better now but back is still sore. Left arm ot burned by airbag and few rashes on both arms. Didn't get any rash from seatbelt.

Here is how it happened.
35 MPH limit street. I am going around 38-40. When I was little far away I saw him pulling out of his driveway and stop. By the time I got closer to him (at the point of oh **** and can't do anything) he pulled out in front of me without even looking. Last I remember is him looking to his right all the time before he pulled in front of me. He didn't even look to his left at all. I honked my horn and jammed my breaks. My ABS light was on. ABS worked for few milliseconds then the wheels locked. I slid right into him. Airbags blow up in my face. Inhaling all the white stuff was not pleasant.

He admitted to me and the cop as well that It was totally his fault. Rest is on insurance. We'll wait and see what happens. I am 99% sure they are going to total the car. Aftermath...

The truck I hit. Newer Dodge Dakota.

Whats left on my car..

Getting towed..

Waiting to get the X-Ray done. Just to be sure that there are no cracks or anything in the bone. Airbag hit really hard..

What's on my arm. Doesn't look that bad in the pic but it was swollen and fluffy like a marshmallow...LoL
