Head over to Honda to have the seat belts replaced. One of the better things from Honda was that they offer lifetime replacement on the seat belts from what I've heard. It shouldn't cost you anything. Check your tyre pressure to make sure they're properly inflated, also check your alignment. Take out extra junk from your car, and don't drive too many fat people around, haha. See if your mileage improves after all that. It should go up by at least 10-15%. How many kilometers are on your motor? As *someone* will say ( you know who you are, haha), get a can of SeaFoam and run it through the system. That should help as well.

~Cheers~

what spark plugs did you use?
Have you done a seafoam cleaning treatment to the engine intake and gas?
How is the tire pressure?
Winter gas sucks but this sounds like more than just that

The seatbelts may be dirty in the retractor- spray a safe cleaner in there- then spray lube
Call Acura and ask if there is any warranty issues with the seatbelts- you never know!

" Head over to Honda to have the seat belts replaced" Hoda or acura both are in the same distcance.

all 4 tyres are 32 psi ( i check them every sunday) thats my sunday maintenance

" also check your alignment " i did that when i bought the car like 4 month a go

" Take out extra junk from your car " the only thing i can think of is taking my self out, lol i'm the only waight thats in the car exept the 5th tyre * how ever you call it and a 15 Kg jack. most of the time i drive i'm alone ( 70 % )

" and don't drive too many fat people around " Fat pplz dont get in my car lol ( 99 % )

" How many kilometers are on your motor? " 220700 KM

" seafoam " planing to do that next but my mechanic dont want me to do it cose he tells me " it wont do any dif to honda/ acura " is that tru ?

Ya and this car was poorly maintained from 170000-210000 ( i'm not sure if he even ran 91+ octain Gas the previous owner was a jack ass )

about the seafoam, since my mec dont want to do it can i do it my self were is the Pcv val or the break booster line or were ever you put it ( i know nothing about cars this is my 1st car ) so with pics it would be better and were to find seafom ( e-bay ? ) i checked " canadian tire " they dont have it in stock

since i got the car the only thing i did is change the spark plugs change the oil every 3000k + change the trans fluid ( 3 L ) any thing elce i have to do ? since i'm planing to keep this car Untill 09 Hit the store and 3G price drope

when should i change my timing belt. this car was bought from a non acura dealer on 2005-10-25, you think they changed the timing belt ?

^ There might be a sticker wither in the engine bay or around the driver door saying when they did the timing belt. Definitely do the SeaFoam, though, it does help ALL cars. I'd go to Acura first, but it really should be the same at either place about the seat belts. I don't think our part is exclusive to Acuras or anything, haha.

Differential fluid can be replaced with non-Honda fluid. It states in the manual. For me time to replace. I did it at 38K, I am now on 78K. I still have some left over from the gallon I bought years ago. Just a beatch to change though.

Platinum- were they Denso or NGK? densod wear out in about 50km

Seafoam comes in a 200mil/1 pint, white can- about 7 bucks each- buy 3 at most real parts stores- not an ebay item
Scroll down the list of threads for 2nd generation TL and read the one titled
Seafoamed the ol TL
There is an easy to reach hose on the driver side of the car, and the thread has 15 pages of pics and tips
Works on EVERY car especially ones with questionable history

What did a call to the dealer say about your seatbelts?

^ Yes, that's the brake booster vacuum line. Pour the SeaFoam into a plastic or glass cup first, then let the car "sip" from that. Styrofoam will melt.

How do i remove the clip from the hose, pull the small thing Up ? https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172249 he said " the engine developed a knock on startup for about 5 sec now and goes away once the oil pressure gets up " will that happen to me to by any chance ?

About the seafoam 1 In break booster 1/2 in gas + 1/2 in oil is better Or 1/2 in BB 1/4 in gas + 1/4 in oil is better any suggestion please need it by tom morhing/

read the gen2 DIY on Seafoam
DO NOT put any in the oil unless you are going to change it that day- immidiatly

A full can in the intake vac line and 1 can in 1/4 tank of gas is most effective
The can says in gas 1 oz per gal of fuel for normal-2oz per gal for cleaning
so 1 can in 1/4 tank is good

Sorry- I forgot to note where posters are from, and how the Canuks get lesser warranty on certain things
At least your dollar has value now!
