i'm not sure if brembo makes the "big brake" kit for our cars. but i do know that there are cross drilled and slotted rotors for our cars. the difference between these and stock ones are that they dissipate heat better i think.

first of all brembos are one of the best brakes you can buy, they dont " make" a kit specifically for our tl's but im willing to bet that the ones that they have for the 96-98 ex will probably work, i e-mailed them about this but they nver got back to me about that
the differences between them all
slotted: this is the one that gets the best braking power and sill dissapates (sp?) heat
cross drilled : this is the best to dissapate heat because of the actual holes in the rotor itself
crossdrilled and slotted: im not sure but im guessing that it is just the best of both worlds ( ive been in a bmw 328ci with this brembo kit and :wow: it stops on a dime )
now theres a couple of kits also
gran turismo: ( best) this is the kit that comes with the entire assembly of rotor caliper and all the lines and all that sh!t , this is a great kit but it is also around 2500 ( or more) the reason its soo much is cause it comes with 4 pot racing calipers ( normal cars have 1 or 2 , i think our cars have one and im sure that the new tls have only 1 also )
then theres other lines of the i forget the names but they are basically just different types of rotors.

brakes
Why cant you replace the rotors only. Why must you buy the entire brake kit (rotors, brake lines, calipers, etc)? I want the slotted and cross drilled rotors w/ my stock brake assembly.

I found someone that is selling brembos for 125 for the front pair. If anyone is interested I could give the e-mail address. I am planning on getting them myself. I saw some on a 1st gen and they look hot.

The guy said that they were brand new in the box. I did not ask him if he had 2.5s because I have a 3.2. But his address is on my computer at my job so I'll post it tomorrow E.S.T.

This is the response he sent me after I asked him about the rotors. His e-mail and website are at the bottom. If everyone orders at the same time maybe we could all get a deal.
Hi,
I do have the cross drilled Brembo rotors for your 3.2 TL and they are
$125/pair for the front.
I also carry the PBR Metalmaster performance pads for $42.00 if you need
them.
Thanks

Do you have any for a 97 3.2 TL?

Thanks.
About the rotors, I don't know about the picture. This site was recommended to me from the acura-legend.com forums when I had a Legend. I guess if anyone is interested, they should call them and find out. According to the Legend forum members, irotors seemed like a pretty reliable site.

KVB, Powerstop and the rotors offered by Tim here are all good replacements. Slotted will wear your pads faster. The Brembos are incredible but you pay for the priviledge (still stinging from mine). Also, the Brembos require an 18" wheel.
