are there any major body differences between the rl and tl. could you possibly put a rl body kit on a tl?

 

it looks like you can. the cars are very similar in body style. Im not sure though

 

no, you aren't going to be able to put a RL kit on a TL cause the RL has a wider and longer body than our TL's. if you ever park next to one then you will see what i mean. i wish we had their HID though. that sucks that they put it in the RL's and not our TL's.

 

They are similar but also quite different. The RL has stock fogs in the front, where the TL doesnt. We have bumper lenses there.

 

What do you mean? In 1996 the RL didnt have HIDs either.

 

i've seen a bunch of RL's around that have HID in them. whether or not they are a 96 or not remains to be seen. but all of the RL's look the same. the body style hasn't changed that much.

 

I don't think the body on the RL has changed at all since 96 but they did give the RL HID's i believe during the time they changed the TL design???

 

96-98 RL's have no fogs and no HID....
98 they had a 2-tone RL
99 to 01 HID RL and reshaped bumper with fogs
