Hello. I’m new in this forum. I have a question about my Acura TL 3.2 from 1996. I bought this car here in Cambodia with an transmission failure. It wasn’t moving in Drive, Reverse or any other gear. After cleaning the Valve Body and the Oil Strainer it works in all gears but only for some minutes. As soon as the oil is warm, the gearbox starts slipping and then It stop working. I guess the friction discs are bad already. After the cleaning I filled the gearbox with Bizol ATF VI. In the service Manual I have is only the oil from Honda recommended.
I’m looking now for a second hand gearbox and my question is if I can use this ATF from Bizol. It’s the only one I found in Cambodia where it’s written on Honda ATFZ1.
