resonator chamber

hi folks.
I was wondering, how do you guys remove the resonator chamber on the 2.5 model without having to remove the bumper? Or is it mandatory to remove the bumper?
thanks.

the only resonater chamber is intergrated into the stock airbox. Just undo the clamp near the MAF and the screws around the box.

Just be careful not to let HOT air from the engine bay into your intake.. otherwise you're LOSING power.

Its preferable to get a CAI and remove the resonator completely.

Taking the bumper off is very simple. Once you get used to it it takes a couple minutes. There is no logical way to get the resonator out without taking the bumper off. Plus you're no going to want to take it off unless you still have the stock air box or you plan on making a cold air intake.

if you're talking about the U shaped plastic pipe, i wouldn't recommend taking it off. The stock airbox would only draw air from the engine bay, which would be hot air. The pipe, even with the resonater, draws air from below the car, drawing in colder air.
