Green acura, silver emblems, and an ugly gold pinstripe. I am wondering if it will leave a mark from removal, if the rest of the cars paint is more faded than under the pinstripe. Has anyone removed their pinstripe and had this problem or did it look the same.

most likely it will leave a mark assuming you can even do it. i believe it was pretty hard removing the pin stripe.

Yeah you can wax it out pretty good, but it will still be there. Also depends on the color car you got for how it will still show.

I removed mine. No trace of the stripes. Mine's a 1998.

Use a blow dryer, it will peel like a sticker. I have tried, Goo Gone, it works, but takes a lot of time and it is messy.

Blow Dryer is a charm.

But not a gurantee that yours will be spackling clean, no trace of the stripe.

I had mine removed by a shop when it was 4 years old. No trace at all. They did buff the whole car after though.
