Raced 95 Lude SE, (My friends)

We went out to these double lane roads way out, so we didn't have to worry about cops. We raced about 5 times from 0-60. From the line he pulls away good, and at higher speed like 40 MPH I pull away good. So pretty interesting. It was real fun though. His lude has 160 HP, my TL has 176 HP. I drove his lude afterwards, it's got balls, pretty fast. TL is quick though too. Any of you guys race any ludes? Were both stock automatics.

If you replace your exhaust with a free flowing muffler, it'll help the engine with the quicker response.

I've gone through 2 different mufflers this week(long story) and a good sports muffler provides a noticable improvement during the lower RPM's...

My TL takes longer to reach 1,000 ~ 3,000 than 3,000 ~ 5,000 but with a non restricting muffler, it's a noticable differance with a much quicker response when I press that gas peddle.

It's a well worth item however you'll loose the quiet ride with a free flowing muffler.

the reason its harder to get form 1000-3000 is cause off the line thcar is really heavy and the engine has to take time to get it up to speed but when it gets going it has no problem
