Quick question about the fans...
My mom owns a 96 TL 3.2, yesterday when she shut it down I noticed that the fans seemed a little loud (in comparison, I have a 92 Legend) so I popped the hood and noticed that only one fan was running. Is this normal? It was the right fan that was running if you are facing the car with the hood up.
Thanks Guys,

my fan goes off all the time...i live in texas so it gets pretty hot here so i thought having the fan run after you shut your engine is normal...at least for us texans. next time it happens, ill pop my hood and see which fan is running. i always thought both fans should be working but i'll check it out..

my car does that too... i thought something may be wrong too but i am guessing that the right one is the cooling fan and could the left one possibly be the a/c fan??? that is the only reason i could think of or maybe when it gets really hot then both fans kick??? i dunno///

We've had 7 Hondas so far, and every one of them has done that. The reason for that is if you have been driving around for quite some time and the engine is still pretty hot, the cooling fan will still run up to 20 minutes after the car has been shut off. This lets the radiator and the engine cool off faster rather than letting it cool off naturally. I used to find it annoying, but if it helps the coolant and radiator life, then I could tolerate it.
