Are any of the 3.5 parts interchangeable with the 2.5? such as brakes kits exhausts(axle-back) and does anyone know where i can find badges and such for the car. And one last thing, does anyone know the difference between the Inspire and the Sabre? I jus got my UA2 and i want to go for the stock "JDM" look

 

1st off, the tl only comes in 3.2 and 2.5. brake kits prob wont work b/c 3.2 are 5 lugs while 2.5 are 4 lugs. (5x114.3 and 4x114.3). full cat back exhaust are the same but the headers are diff b/c 2.5 are 5 cylinder while 3.2 are 6. badges can be found on ebay. inspire and saber have diff style grills and diff stock rims.

 

ok thanks ok about the brake thing i was wondrering if i could do a full swap rotors hubs and everything to make my 4 lug into a 5 lug. I've done it on a S13. Like will the brake pressure be the same or will it affect the brake balancing if i change it out. and are there any major differences between the sabre and inspire besides cosmetic. like does 4 or 5 lug make the difference or engine, interior, rims anything. You know how you can tell the difference between the 3.2 and the 2.5 by the grill and the lug pattern, can you tell the difference between the Inspire and the Sabre by looking at those?

You mentioned 3.5 interchangability...

With the 3.2 TL yes, the 3.5 RL parts are somewhat interchangable.

The 3.5 engine in the RL is a stroked 3.2 really They are quite similar and are of the same engine family.

As for brakes, they are interchangable as are wheels.

The 2.5 is a different story...
