Psi

Hi folks.
How much PSI air pressure do you guys think the 2.5TL can take before it starts to croak?

I keep my Goodyear TripleTred tires at 36psi.

Honestly I don't know if anyone even slapped FI on. Notice that the compression ratio is 9.6:1, so I don't think you can run insane levels.

do you plan to build the bottom end? Will you be getting it tuned?

btw, its not psi air compression.

Honestly, i still don't think you should attempt to go turbo. Not until at least you learn the correct terms when referring to F/I.

Ysidro. Check out FYCRacing, it's local to both of us, and there are a lot of people there who have turbo's, both stock, and aftermarket. Some hands on help would probably really help you.

With the stock compression I wouldnt go more the 15 psi and thats pushing it. Remember if you want to run high boost you must make sure the Air fuel ratio is right for the amount of boost you want to run. If you run rich you have less of a chance of detonating. But if you run lean without detonating thats where you going to get most of your power. Thats why is always good to get someone that knows how to tune. When you tune with a wideband you could make you afr, to where is going to get you the most power.
