pricing?

alright guys, after all this talk about HID's and burnt out PIAA's i need to start researching about these 6K HID conversion kits. need to find out what price you guys got your kits for. i forgot how much street is selling his for but right now i found some for $439. obviously the cheaper the better

ok found a pair for 200 on ebay. but it's some no name brand JKL, suggestions?

i just realized that once you upgrade your HID you lose your high beams!!!!

Yep, no more high beams...But you really dont need them. The Phillips Ultinon are high quality, but they are pretty pricey.

i got the kit from streeteffectz and that was 550 shipped ... you dont have a highbeam but if you hit it the bulb still works

ok what are some well known names for HID? i know phillips makes them, who else?

thats all you need to know...if youre going to spend some serious $$ on HID's, might as well go with some reputable company that backs up their product; otherwise, you risk the chance of some low quality HID's frying the headlight housing or even burning out like the PIAA's...

Yeah Han, thats a great kit. I've been told those Ultinon bulbs arent that purple though. They're supposed to look like the Le Mans cars. Kind of green/white/blue. Most kits are between $530 and $600. I got my 6000K bulbs from autolites and the beam pattern is very good. Do some research though before you buy though. I just have the autolites bulbs with BOSCH ballasts and ignitors. I'm not sure how good they're ballasts and ignitors are. I know they're not Philips.

Yup, it is, I was supprised too when I asked them by email It took me a few days of search before I dediced to go to the autolamps because they manufactured HID for the auto manufactures.

dang life time warrenty sounds pretty good. but 575 sounds pretty bad. what do you think guys? HID or rear skipper kit?

Well do you want to keep wasting money on superwhites? HIDs you just install them, and forget about them.

i say the body kit...you can just keep the PIAA's until they burn out again and in the meantime, get the bodykit.
