My headlight bulb just popped on me yesterday. Theres alot of broken peices inside the headlight right now. Does anybody know a way of getting it out? I'm planning on getting some HID's now...

 

whoa sucks to hear that...guess you got some oil on yoru bulbs. i would try using a vacume cleaner and try to suck it all out, but i doube you'll get all of it.

 

I would take the headlight off and shake it out. Good luck bro. Try the vacume too.

DAMN! That is the same problem I have. I've tried everything to get that piece of glass out of there and still haven't been successful. I was really close with a set of pipecleaners, but i still couldn't get it done.

BTW, what is a glass magnet?

 

the glass magnet was a joke but listen here is what you do...if u can see the glass get the pipe cleaner again and put some tape on the end and go in and just get the glass to stick to the tape and viola its out,,,,,,or if you wanna do this it will work too...get smaller tubing which u can get at home depot or any hardware or pet shop store and attache it onto the end of a vacum and go into the housing with that and that sould suck the small pieces of glass out.....but i would try the tape trick first.....works great.... when ever i use to drop screws that i couldnt reach into tight places i would use this trip the get them.,.,,,,,,good luck...Bailey
