Please help diagnose starting issue (video attached)

Folks
I had an isue with my car not starting. I detailed that issue in this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tl-1996-1998-101/starting-problem-please-help-707709/. The issue went away but unfortunately came back today morning as I stepped out to head down to my office on a Monday morning. I've shot a video and uploaded it here.

Could someone please check it out and let me know what the issue could be? I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks...

Check your battery terminal connections. They might be loose or have corrosion on them. If not your battery might be dying. Will it start with a jump?

Thanks for the reply...

So the first time this happened was about 20 minutes after I got my battery cleaned up. I was in for an oil change and the guy says that the battery needs to be cleaned up. I said go ahead. I drove out and stopped at a mall 5 miles away - came back to the car and it did what I showed in the video. I waited for some time and it started up again with no issues.

The battery seems fine. Infact, I jump started another car recently with this car so I dont think the battery is dying or low.

So does this not look like a starter issue?

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. Is this a DIY - pop the hood and look at something or something that I need to take the car in to a shop for?

Yeah, check your battery connections. Maybe at times the connection is enough for the car to start and at other times it is not. While you starting the car, engine vibrates and causes the connection not to "bite" as much or vice versa. Wiggle both terminals and see what happens. Either that or you may have a bad cable.

I think it is a loose connection myself. A couple of facts support this theory:
- This happened for the first time immediately after they cleaned my battery.
- Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't
- It does not look like a starter issue - I am told if its a starter issue then its just a single click - not the continuous clicking sound I get

I also took it to a Honda/Acura specialist and showed him the video. he also doesn't think its the starter and suspects a loose connection. He took the wires off and cleaned the battery terminals up nicely and said we'll have to wait for the issue to crop up again in order to investigate further.

Thanks a lot for all your replies. I'll be back in case the issue comes back !!
