I have a '98 3.2TL. I paid little over $100 for it at a local shop. It says Apex R Motorsports.

Sorry the pic does not show. Try right clicking it and hit view image.

nice man. can you tell me the approximate cost for that installation? total? I am planning on getting that this summer so i would like to know about how much money to save up.

and that little K&N filter, what does that do? I read earlier on your post that you were supposed to connect a hose to that spot but just decided to use another filter? ...?

thanks

Short Ram Intake just lets your engine breathe easier. Giving it the opportunity for more air. HP increase is nominal. About 5hp I think. The only time I can ever tell a difference is when I give it gas and RPM's hit around 3500. Well of course and the sound is SWEET!

The guy at the shop installed it for me for free. No charge. I just paid for the tube, and filter. Think that little filter is a breather filter.

Your intake is for a 3.2TL do they have anything for the 2.5TL? If so I would like to get one for myself. Where did you order it from and do they have a website where I could see for myself.

Thanks in advance for your response!

I wonder why they hooked up your breather filter through a hose instead of the actual part where the hose connects to the engine. Here's a pic of mine:

Hmm... I don't know I guess mine could hook up right where your's is too. Not sure why they did mine this way and yours that way. Who knows. I don't see how it really could make that much of a difference anyway.
