Pics of my car

Tried taking some good pics. I like to use b&W film because you can't tell that the tail lights are red and orange...looks better that way. The color ones didn't come out as good as I thought. I think I want a spoiler. Any suggestions??

Thumbs up

I like it a lot. Your car is still one of my favorite first generation TL. The first time I look at your car, I wanted to get those ADR GT Sport Rims, then I changed my mind to those mesh type rims (5Zigen Heidfeld). Now you have to bring those rims back . I don't want my car to be a copy of your car, but heck whatever looks good, right? My car so far look as much as yours, except I still have the stock rims on.

By the way, no no, i don't think a spoiler is needed for your car.

Thanks Maxx. Did you get your sideskirts painted yet? I really like the ADR Sports too. If you really like those wheels so much, we should talk. I am seriously thinking about selling them. Email me if you REALLY interested.

I don't think that I can use your rims on my car... mine is a 2.5TL with 4 lugs pattern

oops...yeah that wouldn't work. I didn't realize the 2.5 and 3.2 had different lug patterns. Oh well, I will just have to find somebody with a 3.2 who wants to buy em.

Dfunk,
how much are you thinking of asking for your 18" ADR Sports? I just recently bought some 17" C5's but I do like your wheels lots! BTW, why are you selling them?

Thanx,
R_C

r_c, I think I am already bored with them. I like em and all, but I'm not gonna be able to really drop it any lower. I will admit they do have some scratches, not bad though. I scraped one up against a curb. But really not as bad as I thought. I was calm about it though...did my breathing exercises.:p Give me a week or so to figure out prices. Email me if your really interested.

dbox, Get them pics up boy! I initially wanted a black TL, real bad, and white was the last color I thought I would get. You gonna make me jealous with your midnight whip all up on 19's and sheit. Oh well, we can still take a vote. On looks tho, not ride quality.

Dfunk: Nice ride. I like the black and white pics. For a min there thought your lights in the back was clear. Whoa....got me there. LOLz. =o) I like your rims too. Almost as nice as mine. J/K. Its tight.

So, you wanted a black car? Wanna trade cars? I have a black car and I would like to drive a white one. LOLz. =o) Next time around, we should trade and see how things are like. Hehe..=o)

Anyway, just wanted to say "sweet ride" to you. Keep representing the 1st Gen TL. You know we the BOMB. *wink*

Maxx...you trippin?

AnkiiGrl, thank you...yeah I wanted a black car. Always wanted one, but I couldn't beat the deal I got on this car. Besides, white (Pearl) especially being a TL and all has grown on me...and the sideskirts show up better than if you "black" owners painted yours. *wink* :p Yeah...after I saw those b&w pics I thought, I wish I could be a dog for a day and see in b&w tails look much better if....if we were dogs...OR IF THEY JUST MADE CLEAR TAILS FOR OUR CAR! Anyway, I would trade for a day...just don't know If I could handle the backwards shift knob...*real wink*-->

Yeah, your exactly right...dropped a tad bit lower in the front. Kinda gives it that aggressive stance. It wasn't really like that when I first had the kit installed, but it has been settling real nice.

Be careful about rolling the fenders too much...( you got a 96, right?) cuz the paint chips easily on our older finish than it would on a newer car. Make sure it is done by a pro!

Peace

Maxx, Dbox said you could in the spindles topic. I have the same idea bobbytl does, thats why I might get rid of my wheels.

If i can get the converter for my car from 4 lugs to 5 lugs, we're in business... So how much will you charge me in US Dollars for them rims? Don't charge me too much, I may have to pay you in FOOD STAMPS.

Anyway, let me know how much you are willing to let go off your rims for ... better yet, PM me and let me know... and by the way, I did read the part that you scrubbed the rims too hehehe that caused a major deduction from the price.
