PIAA - Super Plasma

One of my headlight bulbs burnt out - I'm thinking about getting the Super Plasma. I wonder if any of you guys have those. If you do, how are they? How do they look? Bright and stuffs like that? I had Xtreme White in the headlight - they burnt out awefully quick. I had them for almost a year. I can't afford the HID either.

Thanks in advance

I picked up a pair of Piaa Super Plasmas from http://www.hitechimportlighting.com along with a set of Piaa Yellow Plasma Ions for my fogs. I tried them out right before I installed my HID kit and they are VERY close to HID's. I still have them is anyone is interested. I used them for about 15 seconds.

The super plasma look very nice along with the fog light with the light purple light, better than the Extreme White. But the average burn out on my car is 4 months, may be because I drive a lot and turn the light on when it's cloudy (it's nice to look at them man . That's why I just order the HID from the Philips www.autolamps-online.com , it's much brighter and economical for me in the long run.

I just put in the xtreme whites in my car

how long before they burn out

I know from personal experience that PIAA fog lights suck. I had 2 sets and they both filled up with water and eventually the mirror inside would start peeling. I will NEVER buy PIAA fog lights again. I wasted $350 on fogs for no reason.

Check this out

I had the same problem all ya'all are havin with the PIAA headlights,(burnin out 4-6months), then I got some Nokias, they burnt out even faster. The wiring for our headlight system, only handles 55watts which is our standard halogen bulbs, all those aftermarket bulbs like PIAA, Nokia, are all at a higher output rating, causing the pigtails to melt and short out the bulbs, it'll also damage and start to melt the rest of the wiring if used for too long. My suggestion, keep the standard bulbs, save up for HID, and buy those. They only require 35watts, and they're 300% better and brighter, trust me.
