parking brake
is there an easy way to adjust the parking brake? my BRAKE light is still on and i have full fluid. the car doesn't drag either, but the parking brake does hold the tires. not sure why else the light would be on other than the needing of some adjustment.

I believe if you remove the center console (6 screws I think) you can adjust the brake there. If not, it might be something mechanically wrong with the rear brakes.

i will try to fix it via middle console....i hope i don't have to do anything in the rear. i just changed em....so i hope i didn't ruin somethin. i'll check the fluid once again. i wasn't able to release all the pressure from master cylinder when i changed caliper, but the brakes were bled so i hope that is fine. and yeah,i meant the dash BRAKE light sorry.

heh, still hilarous how easy it 'can' be to take the inside of this car apart. to get to the adjusting screw, you don't even have to take out the whole middle console...just the small piece under the carpet in the middle lower part. but all i see is the one screw, no more than that. so i tightened that a bit but it was already pretty tight.
so could it be all about the pressurization of the master cylinder, and the lack there of, etc? i'm wondering if that is the deal, cuz the car drives and parks fine. and the fluid in the MC is full. is this something that i could find out via trouble code??

Check the little bobber that's on the underside of the cap for the brake fluid. My brake light randomly comes on all the time, but just unscrewing the cap and knocking around the bobber seems to fix it. Yes, this will probably get annoying after a while but I haven't found any other way to make it stop.

heh, how bout this one? --> i'm a tard. i was checking/filling the abs module. i saw it said DOT3 only, etc so i figured it for the master cylinder. i found it today though by the firewall, and it was super low. i filled it to MAX and the light went off with no troubles. lesson 43: know where stuff is under the hood on your new car. but i did make sure the bobber was working right
