Lightbulb Painting suggestions?

Hey guys, I have decided that this weekend I'm going to tackle painting the brake callipers. I have also decided to paint the wheel wells to get rid of that nasty dirty look.

Anywho, I'm going to do the callipers and (hub) part of the rotors black, would anyone who has done it suggest painting them with a spray application off the vehicle, or leaving them on and painting with a brush on application?

As for the wheel wells, Im considering just using a couple coats of flat black spray paint... I have used the rubberized undercoating and found that it peels off after a few weeks.

Any suggestions?

The guy that did my calipers took them out and sprayed it black. It's been like 5 months now, and hasn't come off yet.
