I purchased a set of 2001 CL-P rims recently. Should I get them painted gun metal? Or leave it stock? My car is black 3.2TL. Any comments would be great! thanks

if you can get the painted gunmetal for cheap i think you should go for it. Gunmetal would look sick on a black 3.2.

spray paint or powder coat? spray paint is great for a quick change, but kinda stupid to do especially if you ever want the stock finish back.

btw there is no reliable powercoater in this city. But there is a place that does good painting for wheels, thats what they do and among other things etc. I aint doing no home spray paint job lol

Put them on and leave them stock for a while, take some pics, and see how we, and you like it, then go from there.

i would have them done professionally, if u do it on ur own it might crack or peel. then it will start looking shity. and if too pricey i will leave them and save money for the real wheels..

Not going to paint them no more! Going to get them powder coated in gun metal with clear coat etc cost will be around 400-450cdn for all 4 wheels(been calling around)

Yeah, that would look very good... Gunmetal is a sweet color for rims on darker painted cars... Personally I'm planning on getting a set of Legend GS wheels.. (the ones that look like Benz wheels) and getting them dipped in chrome...midnight chrome that is... I think it would look original and luxurious... only bad thing.. They are 15's...maybe 16's
