well just got my new battery today.. went to the place where they sold exide but they changed brands with their companies.. damn KMart.. all well went to autozone and to my shocking they had optimas in stock... was gonna get the yellowtop but it didn't fit cause the terminals were in the middle... got the redtop.. when i started that badboy no joke.. boom.. im satisfied... 8 yr warranty for anything... ill post pics of my colorful engine bay now.. lolz..

 

i was going to get the yellowcap b/c i was going to get 2 big amps to push my subs. i could have gotten them free b/c my friends' bf works for them but he got fired for skipping work or something..... but yeah, how is the start? it doesn't struggle when you start your car huh?

 

it was 15 degrees out there today and no prob with the start... it fired much faster than usual and i love it.. 8 yr warranty replacement too....

 

cool, now all i need to do is get one of those.

i paid 109.$+10% discount+8$ discount for return of my old battery... so estimated i paid around 100$ ... the reason i got a 10% discount was cause there was comsetic damage on the battery.. like around the terminal it look like there was some wear.. i knew it was only from shipping cause the caps were brand new and not scratched but i gave the manager a hard time and he gave me the discount.. and newayz my friend works there newayz... so ig uess i lucked out.. i needed it tho... my mom would get stuck at work cause it would be too cold or she forget to turn off the lights something like that.. at least i don't have to worry when i give her my car...

 

Went into Pep Boys Looking for an Optima Red Top but was not sure on the size, guy told me if i bought it i would only get store credit and thats only if it was in pristine condition (all plastics even on terminals) ass****.. anybody know the size i could fit in there ive seen the energizer battery i currently have is a 35 series. Now there were 2 different sized red tops 75/35 and 34/78 i wanted to buy the 34/78 b/c it provides higher amp ratings compared to 75/35... andybody have an optima batter yand if so what size would fit in my first gen?

i would try some SVR or odyssey battery before optima.

 

sorry i keep forgetting... but i realized that u have a 2.5 and the battery is mounted in the corner if i am correct... hopefully i remember tomm.. sorry again man...
