i was washing my car yesterday evening and sprayed the front of my car to get all the bugs off, and the ****ing paint started peeling in this little spot, its about a inch long and half a inch wide. I put touch-up paint on it for now - what should i do ?

 

did you wet the car as you were scrubbing off that bug remover crap?

 

Damn that sucks dude. I would put a few layers of touch up then wet sand it down. You would hardly see it if you did it right.

 

how much would a new bumper be at a junkyard ? and how much would it cost to get it sanded and painted, I have some scrapes on the left side b/c of the person b4 me

 

Bro, you dont need a new bumper. All you need to do is get it painted. Go to a body shop for an estimate. I would say $275-$350 depending on who did it. Go to some reputable places around and ask. Dont go to the first place you see. Look around for good shops.

 

I got my front bumper painted for only $150.

Damn thats cheap. Did you know the guy or something? If not, err, did it come out good?

 

I actually did other stuff too. Had my side skirts painted and fixed a dent on my fender. That was $300. With the front bumper painted, it was $450. He did a decent job.
