oh no rust spots

I moved recently to central New York and I've already seen a few rust spots forming on my car. well I guess my question is how do u guys who live in rust prone regions "protect" your TL's against rust? Oh and what leather wipes or lotions are u using for your car seats?

I have a little rust on some rock chips on my hood, although I'm a California car and we don't usually get rust... I say wax regularly. For the leather, I've been using Eagle 1 Nano Protectant although my buddy gave me some of the stuff his Ferrari dealer uses on their cars. I haven't used any yet as it's too precious to use on my torn driver seat, haha. The Eagle 1 works well, and it's very smooth after it dries. Now if only I can get people to stop sliding across the rear bench...

~Cheers~

I live in a very rust prone region. We do rust proofing in here. Basically there are shops that either put this grease in all the rust prone places in the car, all the gaps and such. There is also this place that is very popular that sprays the under body with oil and also drills a few holes in the doors(it sounds real bad but it's not) and puts oil in there, which is supposed to help. As far as I know this oil rust proofing place is only available here in Quebec and in Ontario, Canada. However the rust proofing places that work with grease are all over the place, so I'm guessing that you should be able to find some in NY as well.

I have a 96 and no rust spots at all. I wax regularly and have a bottle of OE touch up paint for any chips.
