is it normal?

i got a 97 saber/tl2.5 recently. every time it accelerates i'll experience an sudden decelerate, like somebody put a foot on the brake, especially switches in between the low gear. this never happened to my honda crv, or never that much notable. what's up?

Do you actually lose speed, or is it kind of a long stall durring shifts? Sounds like it may just be something with the Tranny? But if your getting a braking feeling, that doesn't sound right.

Have you taken it to an acura dealer to get it checked up after the purchase? It could be good to just have them look it over for any possible problems.

I hope you find a solution.

Thats not normal at all and sounds like a transmission problem.

do a transmission drain and fill, clean the transmission filter / screen.
It's a cheap investment and that may cure your problem.
