newbie here
sup everyone..well i guess im a newbie..been on the website looking and reading around..so i decided to go ahead and join the family..i got my 98 2.5 tl in late january of this year..for $9600 with only 21,000 miles on it..the only thing ive done to it so far is sunroof deflector..dashmat...clear corners and change out the bulbs throught the whole headlight..now im in the process of gettin it dropped and a custom exhaust and a sound system.will post pics of my car later..u guys and girls take it easy and have a wonderful xmas and a safe new year..im out

I dont speak for Mike but it is rare to find a 1st gen TL with low miles like that.

thanks for the guys above for having my back..dont wanna cause no trouble between the members..yea i was real lucky..but the paperwork was legit..hey ken1997tl i was asking the other guy mike89accord96tl about not believing me..but thanks for having my back tho..i see that u are very respected on the forum and i always read wat u write...thanks again

Damn, seems like your joining the club of "I fucking stole my car from the dealer for that price" that has been popping up around here lately. Nice car, but 97's are better

anyways... WELCOME tlonfiya... like i tell everyone... you will find anything and everything about your 1st Gen here on this forum... #1 if you ask me... I'm your opposite according to the car... 1998 Acura 2.5 TL w/ 173,000+ miles... About mike... man, sorry the first impression here was kind of out there but he is a really cool guy when it comes to asking questions... All of our mods here are cool... except esCarbonie, which i never seen post... not once since i've been a member... then again, i'm fairly new here too...
About the liar thing... DUDE!!! things on the forum don't necessaraly come out like they are meant... i'm sure there was no disrespect meant when someones opinion was stated... Anyways, about the mileage... if i were you, for being a 98... i'd check the CarFax or something similar... because according to my knowledge... its really easy to swap the gauge pod from a junked car...
or at least take it to the dealer to have it checked out... if you got it from the dealer... then i don't really know what to say besides... ... ...DAMN YOU ARE ONE LUCKY SOB FOR FINDING A TL W/ THAT MILEAGE!!! Automatic points for you...
Well, like i said before, hope you find us fun to talk to, interesting, and helpfull when it comes to the 1st Gen... of course since we don't have a lot of traffic here... there is always the ramblings section...

My 2 cents are that if I saw that car for sale with those miles, I would need a mechanic to check the engine to make sure the miles were not rolled back, cause thats damn low. That car Kelly's at $10,215 in "good" condition for private party value, and $13,075 retail value, trade in is 8,270.

welcome this forum is the best..... im gona miss all you guys over the years for helping me hook up my car. but im selling her, Tranny is about to go and its just not worth it for me.
Hopefully i can get 2'500 or 3'000 for her.. and if anyone wants one rainguard you can have it for free.
