Newbie

So I am new to the forum but not so new to TLs. I just purchased my second Tl its a 96 3.2. I lost my 2.5 about a year ago thanks to a young lady failing to stop at a light. So far all I have gotten around to is making some custom tail lights and removing some of the rear emblems. A couple things I have in mind now is making a mesh grill and possibly blacking out my head lights. However I do feel some 20s are in my future. Anyways tell me what you think.

I didn't laugh. That is creative. Now lets see how that hold up in the heat from the bulbs. Looks good though.

Question for you, How did you open up the tail lights? I wanna take the amber piece out of mine.

I have been riding them a few days now good so far. To remove the lens I remove the bulbs wires and there is also one screw on the back side of the light towards the out side holding the lens. Then I put the whole thing in the oven at 200 for about eight min. Then just lightly pried with a flathead evenly top and bottom taking a few passes until it comes off. There are also some tabs to be mindful of. It sounds kinda hard but one you get it out of the oven it only takes like 10 minutes. On a side note you can put the housing back in the oven for 5 or so minutes to get the glue hot for reassembly but DO NOT PUT THE LENS BACK IN THE OVEN.

The reason I got the shower curtain idea is because I orginally just took the diffusers out and rode like that for a few days and I didn't like the way it looked. My idea was actually to get some reflective material to line the housing with but couldn't find what I was looking for.
